Sailing yachts maintained for uninterrupted passage and continuous readiness at sea. No task is too small. No detail is missed.
I'm Dominick — I've been sailing on and off since I was a kid and grew up in a ferry boat building industry. I do all the work myself. That means when I rewire your boat, install your solar, or repair your hull, you're getting someone who's actually used these systems offshore and understands what failure looks like at sea.
No job is too small and no challenge too awkward. I'll tell you honestly what's needed and nothing more.
We design, install and fault-find all marine electrical systems — from simple battery upgrades to full rewires and integrated nav systems.
Most electrical failures at sea trace back to poor original installation — undersized cable, bad connections, no fusing. We rewire properly: correct cable sizing throughout, properly rated fusing, tinned marine-grade wire, and a clean panel layout you can actually understand.
Whether you have a 30-year-old boat with a spider's web of mystery wires or a newer vessel with a specific fault, we'll sort it.
Modern nav electronics are only useful when they're properly integrated. We install and network chart plotters, AIS, VHF, depth sounders, wind instruments, autopilots and NMEA 2000 backbones so your instruments share data and display it where you need it.
Proper bracket installation, registration guidance, and integration with your DSC VHF.
Run 240V appliances at anchor or on passage. We size and install inverter/chargers correctly.
Float switch wiring, high-water alarms, and automatic pump systems installed reliably.
Cut your engine hours, stay independent at anchor, and reduce your environmental footprint. We design and install renewable energy systems that work in Scottish conditions.
Scotland gets genuine solar resource — especially through the long summer days. We assess your deck layout and usage profile to design a system that actually delivers: flexible panels for curved surfaces, rigid panels for maximum output on flat areas, and MPPT controllers that squeeze every watt out of the light available.
A well-placed wind generator on a Scottish anchorage will outperform solar on most days of the year. We install and commission marine wind turbines — properly mounted and with correct regulator setup so they charge efficiently without the control unit fighting your solar array.
Moving from lead-acid to lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) transforms a boat. Double the usable capacity at half the weight, faster charging, and no damage from partial state of charge. We install complete systems with proper BMS protection, compatible chargers and alternator protection.
Right capacity for your usage, correct BMS, and cell-level monitoring included as standard.
Shore power, solar, wind, and alternator all feeding your bank without fighting each other.
Lithium requires alternator protection. We fit proper isolators so you don't burn out your alternator.
Victron and other quality monitors fitted so you always know exactly what your bank is doing.
From osmosis treatment to collision damage repair — we work with fibreglass properly. No filler over filler, no shortcuts that come back in two seasons.
Osmotic blistering is common in older GRP boats, and cutting corners on treatment just means it returns. We peel the gelcoat where required, dry the hull properly over time, treat with epoxy barrier coat, and apply antifouling that won't compromise the work below.
Collision damage, delamination, keel sump cracks — we repair GRP structure to original strength. We use the correct laminate schedule for each repair, not just a skim of polyester filler. Work is vacuum bagged where appropriate for maximum strength.
Oxidised, stained or scratched gelcoat professionally restored — cut, polished and protected.
Awlgrip and International Perfection applied for a hardwearing gloss finish that lasts years.
Scrub, sand, and apply. We know which products work in Scottish waters and which don't.
Experienced offshore sailing from Scotland to wherever your boat needs to be. Coastal hops to cross-channel passages — we'll get her there.
We deliver sailing yachts and motorboats along the Scottish coast, around the UK, to Ireland, and across to Europe. Whether you've just bought a boat and need it brought home, or you're keeping her in a different port for the season, we can handle it.
You're also welcome aboard as a delivery crew if you want passage experience — just let us know when you enquire.
Tell us the route, the boat, and your timeframe. We'll give you a realistic quote and discuss any considerations.
We inspect safety equipment, engine, sails and rigging before departing. Any issues flagged and agreed before we set off.
We sail your boat. Regular position and condition updates to you throughout the trip.
Boat handed over clean, with a full passage log, fuel used, and any observations noted.
RYA qualified skipper. Fully insured for delivery work. Your boat is in safe hands.
The west coast of Scotland demands real passage-making skills. Tides, weather windows, remote anchorages — we know them.
We've delivered everything from 26ft bilge keelers to 50ft offshore yachts. Size isn't the issue, suitability is.
We'll get back to you quickly. For urgent work or to discuss a job informally, just call — we prefer a conversation to a form.
